Omissions

Are omissions considered lies? By selective excluding information, one can deliberately distort the general perception others hold. Is lying exclusive to statements of falsehood? I think not. The intent of speaking untruths and omissions are one and the same; that is to deceive.

Anyway, I shall be truthful and admit that I lost 2 games of minesweeper flags to Ming Hoe last night. We played a total of 3 games, and he won the first, while I trashed him at the second.

The third game began with me granting him a 15 flags headstart, and catching up later with sheer ingenuity. It was the closest fight ever, and I had to point out the last winning flag to him so that he won't take another 15 minutes to make his next move...
