Rev Chang delivered his last sermon as pastor of our church two Sundays ago. He has been our shepherd for 2 years and these are some fragments of him etched in my memory.
"Kingdom Living - Loving God, loving man."
"Kingdom Purpose - Your specific contribution to the body of Christ that enables you to demonstrate your love for God and man."
"God wants your money, because He wants you."
Although I can't say that I've figured out everything, his spiritual formation classes helped me think deeper about interpretations of God's Word.
He has also reminded us many times that this world and all its pains and sufferings will pass away soon. We need only to hang on while waiting for our siblings to return home. His illustrations of the mother in the market, and about his stint in Australia were very helpful.
