I just caught Inception with Ming Hoe and David at Bugis. It is another excellent piece of work by Christopher Nolan. The movie was exciting and its pace was good; I was kept on my toes throughout the 2.5 hours. The build-up was easily understood and the plot moved quickly into the main task to be accomplished. I loved the ambiguous ending, leaving room for the viewer's interpretation.
The concept of waking up to reality reminded me of Karl Marx's idea of false consciousness, and of The Matrix trilogy. Perhaps, there is some truth to this notion. Perhaps, we're still living out a bad dream, still needing to be awaken to the realization of our true condition.
