Is the blog space a public or a private one? Should Christians write articles like the one linked below and publicize them to their friends?

I'm inclined to think that the blog space is a public one. Although I have my views about what Jesus would want me do during the upcoming elections, I don't think I should air them on the Internet.
This is so interesting. I can't wait for the religion & politics seminar at Saint Andrew's Cathedral on 3 May 2011.
