Pisa

Dragging our tired bodies into the dreaded bus, we left Roma for Firenze or Florence. We had a pit stop at Pisa for lunch and sight-seeing. This is the town map of Pisa. The field of miracles can be found on the top left corner.

This is a picture of my brother in the field of miracles before he left hurriedly for his hamburger lunch. No courtyard is complete without a baptistery, cathedral and a bell tower.

And the bell tower is none other than the famous leaning tower of Pisa.

This is large round dome with many sculptured decorations is the baptistery.

This Romanesque-styled building is the cathedral. I love how green the grass were.

These are pictures of the interior of the cathedral, with the splendid pulpit designed by Giovanni Pisano.
